Caff\u00e8 Vergnano supports\nthe \u201cTelefono Rosa\u201d association (Pink phone) in the occasion of the\nInternational Day against women\u2019s violence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
From November 25 to\nDecember 1, all proceeds from the online sale of the Pink Collection in Italy\nwill be donated to the association that offers support to women victims of\nviolence in the occasion of November 25th, International Day for the\nElimination of Violence Against Women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Caff\u00e8 Vergnano with its\nWomen in Coffee project supports the Telefono Rosa association to combat\ngender-based violence. From 25 November to 1 December, all proceeds from the\nsale of the Pink Collection of Caff\u00e8 Vergnano will be donated to the\nassociation that has been working for years to offer psychological support to\nwomen victims of violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Women in\nCoffee is our pink dream for a sustainable future” says Carolina Vergnano,\nmarketing and export manager of the family business and first supporter of the\nproject “It was born in 2018 to support concrete projects aimed at\nsupporting women who work in the coffee plantations. It is a project that has\ngrown over the years: support for the female workforce at its origins remains its\nheart, but we feel the need to expand support to projects closer to us as well.\nThis is why we are happy to be able to be alongside the Telefono Rosa and give\nour contribution to such a topical issue as that of gender-based violence. We\nknow that the lockdown has worsened the condition of women who previously were\nnot safe in the home: there is a lot to do. And we want to do our part ” <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThese initiatives are\nnecessary for our Association – explains the President of Telefono Rosa Maria\nGabriella Carnieri Moscatelli – to continue to help women and their children,\nwho live in our shelters and who need assistance once they leave. All that will\nbe collected – continues the President – will be destined for the life of the\nTelefono Rosa and to support these women in their return to normality ”\nTelefono Rosa is the Association, made up of 60 volunteers, has been dealing\nwith gender violence for more than thirty years, supporting women, minors and\nthe elderly. It currently manages six anti-violence centers, two shelters and a\nsemi-autonomous home offering free legal and psychological advice, assistance\nto minors and parenting, self-help groups, reception and support for women\nvictims of violence and stalking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
