4 Tasty Coffee Recipes with just a few Ingredients

What’s better than a delightful coffee break, enjoying the pleasure of an intense bold aroma? Accompany it with a great dessert! Here are 4 delicious coffee recipes made with just a few ingredients.

Coffee Biscuits

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250g flour 00
  • 100g butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 3 tbsp of coffee
  • A pinch of baking powder
  • 1 sachet of vanilla flavouring

Put the ingredients in a bowl and mix until you obtain an elastic dough. Set the oven at 180°C and while it reaches temperature make small balls, taking a bit of dough at a time. Flatten the dough balls and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes, let them cool down and enjoy.

Coffee Mousse

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 80ml coffee
  • 2 eggs/li>
  • 200ml whipped cream
  • 100g sugar

With an electric mixer whisk the eggs and sugar, then add the whipped cream. Pour in the coffee and whisk for a few minutes. Pour the cream into 4 small glasses and put them in the fridge for about 6 hours. Before serving, decorate with whipped cream, chocolate chips or coffee beans.

Coffee Granita

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500ml coffee
  • 100g sugar50ml water
  • 1/2 vanilla bean
  • Whipped cream to taste
  • Coffee beans

Pour the water, sugar and vanilla seeds into a saucepan and bring to the boil on low heat. Turn the stove off and add the coffee, then put the mixture in a freezer container, better if low to obtain the best results. Once the mixture has cooled down, cover the container with plastic wrap and put it in the freezer. After about twenty minutes, break the ice with a fork and close the freezer door, repeating this process every 10 minutes for another two or three times. The granita is ready to be topped to your liking with whipped cream and coffee beans.

Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

  • 150g flour 00
  • 1 egg
  • 80g sugar
  • 3 cups of coffee
  • 1/2 sachet of baking powder
  • Icing sugar

In a bowl, whisk the egg yolk with the sugar, then combine the flour and baking powder previously sieved. Pour in the coffee while mixing to amalgamate the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 80°C, beat the egg white until stiff and pour it over the mixture, incorporating it with uniform upward movements. Pour the mixture into a cake tin and bake for 40 minutes, then let it cool. Decorate with icing sugar and serve.
