The Project

The entrance of the Accademia Vergnanoa | Caffè Vergnano

Coffee is a simple gesture, an integral part of our lives. But behind every cup there lies a long story, a family, and a number of choices. It’s about expertise, experience and attention to detail passed down and perfected by each generation. This is what the Academy works for, maintaining close bonds with its origins. To enable coffee professionals and lovers to be successful in their preparation every time.

Our Home Since 1882.

It all began here. In our birthplace, Chieri.
Domenico Vergnano created their first Italian coffee shop in these hills.
In the same lands where he had grown up in his family home.
A magical place, where the warmth of the atmosphere, meticulous attention to every detail
and above all the aroma of freshly-roasted coffee succeeded in conquering everyone’s senses and destinies.
Casa Vergnano re-opens its doors today.
An Art Nouveau building, steeped in history and experience,
that lives again to fuel this Italian tradition.

The art of Coffee making is making space for itself.

A fundamental aspect of our training is practice..
Hands-on contact with the raw material, with roasted coffee,
cupping, tests, with the grinder and with professional coffee machines
are all essential elements in our courses.
The foundations which can help the greatest professionals to grow.
This is why we have built new classrooms,
specially designed areas to house every stage of training effectively.
