SCA COFFEE DIPLOMA SYSTEM

At the Accademia Vergnano you can reserve and sit exams to obtain the DIPLOMA of certain specific modules of the SCA COFFEE DIPLOMA SYSTEM.

We are authorised for 4 modules:

INTRODUCTION TO COFFEE

This is the ideal module for all those who are making their entrance into the world of coffee as professionals or those who are simply interested in exploring the various aspects of this fascinating beverage.

BARISTA SKILLS

Dedicated to all those who wish to gain the necessary skills to set up the coffee grinder, prepare espresso and foam milk correctly to give the right consistency to cappuccino foam.

ROASTING

The roasting module will make you understand the roasting process, how it is done and how to check the sensory aspects of coffee, from lighter to darker roasts.

BREWING

The Brewing module examines several methods to prepare coffee, including the Chemex, Siphon, Clever and French Press methods.
